Depths across the lake range from 2ft down to 16ft in places and carp can be caught from every swim.

Although the lake doesn't have any islands, there are a number of sub-surface features including gravel bars, weed beds, reeds, lillies and over hanging trees, all of which are regularly patrolled by the carp.

Although the lake is primarily for carp fishing, there is also a large head of Rudd and Roach which can be caught on waggler and maggot tactics.

The lake has 28 fishable pegs which are constantly being maintained and improved for anglers' maximum comfort.
